What does it mean to live on your terms?
For me, it’s all about freedom. I quit my last stuck-at-the-office corporate job in 2007 and never looked back. Now I’m always on the move, creating and learning as I go.
I have traveled to, lived in, and worked from hundreds of cities across more than 50 countries around the world. Along the way, I’ve taken a few businesses from the “idea-on-a-napkin” phase to the first $1,000,000 and beyond.
These days my life is full of excitement and adventure…
But my life wasn’t always like this…
Everything changed with a few big decisions, like quitting that last corporate office job and deciding to become a digital nomad (you can read the whole story here).
Now I’m on a mission to help 1,000,000 people escape from the unfulfilling “default life plan” and to start living their dreams instead.
I started by helping the people closest to me — my family and friends — to live life on their terms. Then I wrote a free digital nomad guide. I am creating a course for people who want to escape from traditional office jobs and to have the freedom to live life on their terms instead.
If you want to become a digital nomad, I would love to help you too.
“I spent years stuck in an office in the Bay Area, commuting an hour or more each way every day. It sucked my energy.
Then Neville helped me create my own Office Escape Plan. It worked!
Now I have the freedom to work when and where I want to. I start my day with a relaxing 20-minute jog, instead of sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
I have the freedom to travel now too. I recently took a trip to Easter Island. Best of all, I’m able to spend more time with my family, even though they live in other timezones.”

What I Believe
The default path is not for everyone. You don’t need to borrow a bunch of money and go to a university just to learn something. Don’t waste your life stuck in traffic. Being successful doesn’t have to mean spending the next 30 years sitting in a cubicle at some corporate job you hate. You don’t need a bigger house or a new car. Owning more stuff won’t make you happy.
You have more options than you realize. Build an app. Start a startup. Become a pro surfer. Volunteer on an organic farm somewhere far away. Quit your law firm and open a bakery. It’s never too late. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. So challenge yourself every day and embark on more adventures. Take a trip around the world or across the railroad tracks. See how the other half lives. Share a meal with a stranger. You might make a new friend or meet the love of your life.
Celebrate your wins, learn from your losses, and savor life’s little pleasures. Make time to reflect and be grateful for what you already have. Health is wealth. So are family, friends, and freedom. Wherever you go and whatever you do, remember that the journey is the reward. So be present and take it all in.
Escape. Explore. Experience.
